The LEGO Movie 2 Early Visual Development

Back in 2014 I was contacted to do a few early visual development pieces for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Although we had an animatic and the script changed a ton before going to theaters most of the themes stayed intact. I kind of miss the Lisa Frank Unicorn Mechs and old villains but cheers to the animal Logic Vancouver team for making a great film! Initial Storyboards by Matt Hatton.
